Elated

The sun falls down in a loch that

slowly takes cover in the clouds

Whereby she slowly sinks into a

sea of fog shielded for my eyes

Reflecting the memory of moments

I slept under millions

of glittering stars

Billions of miles away from me

discovering

many mysterious peninsulas

and isles in mind

Elated watching the sun falling

down slowly in the water calm

Opgetogen

Dutch version of the poem Elated

De zon valt in het water stil

dat langzaam wegduikt in

de wolken

Waardoor zij opklimt in een zee

van mist verborgen voor mijn

ogen

Die nu nog slechts weerspiegelen

de herinnering aan toen ik onder

schitterende sterren sliep

Miljarden kilometers van mij

verwijderd over verlaten

schiereilanden liep

Opgetogen kijkend naar de zon

die viel  in het water stil

Amazing

With the wind blowing in my neck

the seafog disappearing in my back

the sun rising in my face my gaze

wanders slowly downhill to the place

where the streams flow into the Loch

Whether it is dawn or sunset glow

visitors mention or avoid their

presence in their blogs

the streams are flowing

their own way day by day

And I from nearby living

under the same stunning big sky

celebrate with them the born

of another hopely glorious day

Knowing for sure I will always

return if leaving once to this

amazing piece of space

under our planetary sun
